Aniba Rosaeodora is native to South America. It is an evergreen tree commonly known as Rosewood growing up to 30 meters tall. It has a reddish bark and heartwood, and bears yellow flowers.
Rosewood has been extensively felled for timber, and due to deforestation of the rainforests, it is endangered and controlled by government.
Rosewood essential oil has a floral, spicy scent.
Rosewood essential oil is a clear to pale yellow liquid.
Rosewood blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, cypress, frankincense, geranium, mandarin, pine, rosemary, sweet orange, tangerine.
Properties: analgesic, anticonvulsant, antidepressant, antimicrobial, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, bactericidal, deodorant, stimulant, tonic.
Aids: relaxation, skin rejuvenation.
Alleviates: acne, coughs, depression, dermatitis, headaches, impotence, lethargy, nausea, stress.
Avoid use if pregnant.
Use moderately within normal therapeutic guidelines to avoid sensitisation.

Massage oil should consist of no more than 3% essential oil(s) to 97% carrier or fixed oil. Absolutes should be blended with no less than 98.5% carrier oil. When adding essential oil to bath water do not use more than 4 drops.
Store essential oils at low room temperature, in a dark place, out of the reach of children, pets and away from foodstuffs.
