Crystal Description

Actinolite is a calcium magnesium iron silicate hydroxide mineral found in metamorphic rock. Actinolite forms a series with Tremolite, and a variety of Actinolite is Nephrite Jade.

Actinolite is often found associated with quartz, and Actinolite crystals make interesting collectors pieces. Fibrous Actinolite should be handled with care and never inhaled.

Actinolite is known as the dream stone, and assists in dream recall, analysis and dream connection to ancient wisdom.
