I have some exciting rare minerals and crystal specimens that will be available over the coming week or so, most of which can be seen in the video newsletter Serendipty.
Some of the delicate crystals include the rare rose muscovite and golden baryte. Equally as rare are the stunning blues of the scorodite and rosasite crystals. Checkout the internal fire of the Ethiopian fire opals and zincblend (also known as sphalerite). Also soon to be available again alexandrite (the colour change chrysoberyl), crystal clear phenakite crystals and golden brazilianite. Finally some very rare nepheline crystals growing along with black andradite garnet (schorlomite or melanite). Nepheline rarely crystallises and most often forms nepheline syenite, nepheline monzonite and nephelinite feldspar rocks.
