Citrus Paradisi is a hybrid of Citrus Maxima and Citrus Sinensis and cultivated in sub-tropical climes worldwide. It is an evergreen tree commonly known as Grapefruit growing up to 15 meters tall. Grapefruit trees produce round yellow-orange fruit up to 15 cm in size. Varieties of Grapefruit produce mild, tangy, juicy, white, pink and red fleshed fruits.

Grapefruit essential oil is extracted by cold expression of the fresh peel.

Fragrance

Grapefruit essential oil has a light, fresh, sharp, sweet and citrus scent.

Grapefruit essential oil is a pale yellow liquid.

Grapefruit blends well with basil, bergamot, cypress, fennel, geranium, ginger, jasmine, juniper, lavender, lemon, neroli, pine, rosemary and ylang ylang.

Properties: antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antitoxic, astringent, bactericidal, carminative, diuretic, stimulant, tonic.

Aids: circulation, immune system, stimulates lymphatic system.

Alleviates: acne, anxiety, athletes foot, depression, headache, muscle fatigue, pre menstrual tension, stiffness, water retention.
