Eucalyptus Globulus is native to Australia and cultivated worldwide. It is an evergreen tree commonly known as Blue Gum Eucalyptus, Southern Blue Gum or Tasmanian Blue Gum growing up to 55 meters tall. Eucalyptus leaves are bluish to grey and waxy and the tree bark often ‘peels’. The Eucalyptus bears aromatic flowers which are a source of pollen for honey producing bees.

Eucalyptus trees are relatively fast growing, and forested for the timber.

Fragrance

Eucalyptus essential oil has a fresh, penetrating, menthol, camphor like scent.

Eucalyptus essential oil is a clear liquid.

Eucalyptus blends well with cedarwood, lavender, lemon, marjoram, peppermint, pine, rosemary and thyme.

Properties: antibiotic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, deodorant, expectorant, stimulant.

Aids: concentration.

Alleviates: acne, asthma, coughs, exhaustion, fever, gingivitis, gum disease, herpes, muscle aches and joint pain, nasal congestion, skin ulcers, stress.

Eucalyptus is uplifting and stimulating.

Safety Data

Avoid use if pregnant.

May cause an allergic reaction.

Not to be taken internally.
