Cinnamomum Camphora is native to China, Taiwan and Japan. It is an evergreen tree commonly known as Camphor Tree growing up to 30 meters tall. The waxy leaves are aromatic with a distinctive camphor scent when crushed. The Camphor Tree produced small white flowers followed by small fruit in the spring. Camphor is produced in 3 fractions white, and the toxic brown and yellow camphor. Camphor has traditionally been used in Asian cuisine, medicine and as an incense. |
