Zincite

Zincite is a zinc oxide mineral, found in iron and manganese rich metamorphic and crystalline Franklin marble. Zincite has a complex crystalline structure creating irregular specimens. The colour of Zincite is due to regionalised trace impurities.

Zincite is an attractive and collectable crystal, and synthetically produced specimens are available.
