Unakite is an altered Granite rock composed of Orthoclase (a potassium aluminium silicate) Feldspar, Epidote, and Quartz. Feldspars are a group of minerals that have similar structures and are complex in groupings and mineral composition. Unakite is most often cut and polished for the ornamental stone trade. |
