Dravite is a complex sodium magnesium iron boro-aluminium silicate hydroxide in the Tourmaline group found in granites and granitic pegmatites, high temperature hydrothermal veins and metamorphic rocks. Tourmaline has 3 species - Dravite, Schorl and Elbaite; and has 14 varieties. Tourmalines are further named by their colours. Tourmalines are formed in all colours and are often multicoloured.
