Stilbite

Stilbite is a hydrated calcium sodium aluminium silicate mineral, found in low temperature hydrothermals and basalt cavities. Stilbite is a member of the Zeolites group and is closely related to Stellerite. The Zeolites group is divided into seven familys: Analcime, Chabazite, Gismondine, Harmotome, Heulandite, Natrolite and Stilbite.

Stilbite forms sprays of wheat sheaf like crystals, is relatively common, and highly collectable ornamental hourglass like structures are sought after.
