Stichtite is a hydrated magnesium chromium carbonate hydroxide mineral, found in metamorphic and igneous rock.

Stichtite is associated with Serpentine or Serpentine bearing rock, and this attractive green and purple massive combination is commonly known as Atlantisite™.
