Spodumene

Spodumene is a lithium aluminium silicate mineral in the pyroxene group. Kunzite is a pink gem variety of Spodumene, as is Hiddenite, the green gem variety. Spodumene is often pleochroic, and its colours will fade with exposure to sunlight.

Spodumene crystals are highly attractive to collectors.
