Singing Quartz

Quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral belonging to the Quartz group. Quartz is the most abundant mineral on Earth, found in most geological environments and a component in most rock types. Quartz varieties include microcrystalline Chalcedony types (each variety has its own page); and macrocrystalline Quartz types, which is clear in its purest form. Impure varieties include Amethyst, Citrine, Smokey Quartz and the massive variety Rose Quartz (each variety has its own page).

Quartz, also known as Rock Crystal, is further named after the growth types Phantom, Elestial, Double Terminated; locality Tibetan Black, Herkimer Diamond; inclusions Rutile, Tourmalinated; artificial coatings Aqua Aura, Opal Aura; and synthetic production Siberian Blue, Green; and that’s to name but a few (each has its own page).

Singing Quartz is the name given to small Quartz points, often cloudy, that have a unique resonant sound when gently brought together.

Singing Quartz are said to be imbued with the ancient force that created the Universe, resonating the high pitched Om vibration when two Singing Quartz crystals are gently brought together like tingsha.

Singing Quartz provide a gateway to extra-ordinary communication with vibrational consciousness when used in meditation.

Singing Quartz instils a sense of happiness and acceptance of ones place in the here and now.

Crystal Healing Uses

Singing Quartz can be used to stimulate healing of any dis-ease, as its function is to harmonise the higher vibrational energies of the aura, light body or subtle body. It is believed that physical dis-ease is a consequence of dis-harmony in the energies of the subtle body.

Singing Quartz have been used in the treatment of hearing dis-orders.
