Pineapple Quartz

Quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral belonging to the Quartz group. Quartz is the most abundant mineral on Earth, found in most geological environments and a component in most rock types. Quartz varieties include microcrystalline Chalcedony types (each variety has its own page); and macrocrystalline Quartz types, which is clear in its purest form. Impure varieties include Amethyst, Citrine, Smokey Quartz and the massive variety Rose Quartz (each variety has its own page).

Quartz, also known as Rock Crystal, is further named after the growth types Phantom, Elestial, Double Terminated; locality Tibetan Black, Herkimer Diamond; inclusions Rutile, Tourmalinated; artificial coatings Aqua Aura, Opal Aura; and synthetic production Siberian Blue, Green; and that’s to name but a few (each has its own page).

Pineapple Quartz is the name given to the formation of (usually) cloudy white Quartz in which the main crystal point is covered by tiny terminations which point towards the termination of the main crystal. The formation resembles wax running down a candle.

Pineapple Quartz, sometimes known as Celestial Quartz or Candle Quartz, may also exhibit a reddish brown colouration.

Pineapple Quartz points can substitute for Female Quartz if one is unable to source Female points when used for crystal healing.

Crystal Healing Uses

Pineapple Quartz can be used to stimulate healing of any dis-ease, as its function is to harmonise the higher vibrational energies of the aura, light body or subtle body. It is believed that physical dis-ease is a consequence of dis-harmony in the energies of the subtle body.
