Quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral belonging to the Quartz group. Quartz is the most abundant mineral on Earth, found in most geological environments and a component in most rock types. Quartz varieties include microcrystalline Chalcedony types (each variety has its own page); and macrocrystalline Quartz types, which is clear in its purest form. Impure varieties include Amethyst, Citrine, Smokey Quartz and the massive variety Rose Quartz (each variety has its own page). Quartz, also known as Rock Crystal, is further named after the growth types Phantom, Elestial, Double Terminated; locality Tibetan Black, Herkimer Diamond; inclusions Rutile, Tourmalinated; artificial coatings Aqua Aura, Opal Aura; and synthetic production Siberian Blue, Green; and that’s to name but a few (each has its own page). Chlorite is an iron aluminium manganese silicate hydroxide group of minerals. The most common mineral of the Chlorite group is Clinochlore. Chlorite Quartz is the name given to Quartz included (or coated) with Chlorite. Chlorite Quartz often forms phantom formations, where Chlorite is deposited on the surface of Quartz, which subsequently grows larger, creating a ‘green ghost crystal’ within the Quartz crystal. |

Chlorite Quartz phantoms help ground negative energies and emotions with those of the Earth. Meditating with Chlorite Quartz facilitates a conscious connection with Gaia, and is particularly useful when applied to Earth healing. Chlorite Quartz provides a powerful protective environment, and can be used to prevent psychic attack, and help in space clearing. Chlorite Quartz can be used to connect with high vibrational energies, and can facilitate connection to healing guides. Chlorite Quartz is a powerful purifier and can be used to cleans the aura, balance the chakra and align and unblock the meridians. |

Crystal Healing Uses |
Chlorite Quartz can be used to stimulate healing of any dis-ease, as its function is to harmonise the higher vibrational energies of the aura, light body or subtle body. It is believed that physical dis-ease is a consequence of dis-harmony in the energies of the subtle body. Chlorite Quartz helps the body to eliminate toxins and assimilate minerals and vitamins, whilst promoting growth of ‘friendly bacteria’. Chlorite Quartz is particularly useful in treatment of skin conditions and liver spots. |
