Pyromorphite

Pyromorphite is a lead chloro-phosphate mineral in the Apatite group, forming a series with Mimetite and Vanadinite. Pyromorphite is a secondary mineral found in the oxidized zones of lead ore deposits. Pyromorphite forms interesting barrel shaped crystals, often growing like branching cactus.

Pyromorphite is a popular mineral among crystal collectors.
