Lazurite

 

Lazurite is a sodium calcium aluminium silicate sulphur sulphate mineral found in contact metamorphic mineral in limestones. Lazurite is most often found as a massive, and is commonly combined with other minerals to form the rock Lapis Lazuli.

Lazurite crystals are deep blue in colour, rare and make attractive specimens to adorn any collectors cabinet.
