Danburite

Danburite is a calcium boron silicate mineral. It typically occurs in granite and metamorphosed rocks. Danburite has a diamond-shaped cross-section and wedge like termination, and crystals tend to be colourless or pink.

Danburite owes its name to its original locality of Danby, Connecticut.
