Covellite is a rare copper sulphide mineral, and was the first natural superconductor to be discovered. It occurs as a secondary copper mineral deposit and as pseudomorphic replacements after other minerals. Covellite is also known as Covelline. The striking indigo blue colour and rarity of this crystal make it sought after by collectors. |
